Hello, I'm B. Random.

They say everyone has a book inside them. Turns out, I have rather more! I've always loved sci-fi and I'm a creative. I love words, conjuring vivid pictures that bring a smile. I write like I paint, wild, weird and funny.
My goal is for children to enjoy reading, helping them progress to a higher standard. Children who read are our thinkers, the people who will sculpt our world in the future. Parallels drawn between Earth and other worlds; climate change, belonging, determination and community are big ideals which I hope young minds can turn to their advantage.

My books will make you laugh, gasp and mystify you. They'll keep you on the edge of your seat, turning pages. Best of all, they're dyslexic-friendly so everyone can enjoy.
Half alien Ky, brought up human, has to learn to master his alien skills, risking himself with every trial. But that's just the beginning...

This is a great book. My 11 year old son read the first one and demanded to buy this second one the minute it was published. A real page turner for him and, if I care to admit, for me too! He cannot wait for the third instalment!

A Great Sequel
​
After reading the first Mrax book (Alienship), I just had to find out what happens next. The adventures of Ky and Fay become ever more dangerous but what I loved most about this book was how we get to see more of life on Mrax, including their customs, traditions and all the wonderfully colourful creatures. Even though this book has been written for young teens, I love the imaginative way this other world is brought to life.
The adventure of the story is also gripping. You can't help but to read on - will Ky and Fay be able to save everyone? And what does this mean for Earth? The battle isn't over yet, and I can't wait to find out happens!

This book might not be very long, but it is certainly enjoyable. I loved every minute of it and really felt like I was going on adventure with Ky. The author describes such a vivid and creative world that is so different to our own that it is a really pleasure to read.

I hadn't heard of this book until we met that author at my daughter's school Christmas fete, And what an Absolute Delight it was. Alien ship is a great book with engaging characters, me and my daughter couldn't put the book down I would highly recommend. :)

A great read. Keeps even the reluctant reader asking what happens next, all the way through.
A brilliant read, a page-turner! It feels like a valid other world. It's inhabitants and personalities are unique and believable, if sometimes terrifying. The smells and the situations give it vitality and authority. I found it intriguing and frightening in equal measure. It's the most entertaining holiday read I have had in a long time.
